CULTURE
Our unique camp culture is intended to create an everlasting impression on our players where they can push their boundaries, build character and be rewarded for their hard work. We understand the gripes of being at a camp where coaches are overwhelmed or the disappointment of leaving camp with empty results, but our focus begins and ends with our players. The developmental progression of each athlete is the primary focus of BIG TIME Basketball Camp and we design every drill, organize every game and select every coach specifically so that our players can have a great camp experience. |
CAMP OVERVIEW
Campers will spend the week perfecting their basketball skills in an energetic environment, starting with fundamental development. We will combine the landscape of a traditional basketball camp setting with intense drills and game play designed to emphasize the importance of teamwork, competition and skill application. Each day campers will also be able to interact with our passionate team members and meet special guests who stop by the camp to share their success stories in sports and business.
PLAYERS
BIG TIME Basketball Camp is open to male and female athletes. Our "No Skill Requirement" policy offers a safe haven for players to feel comfortable beside their peers, regardless of their playing experience. Participants will be divided into groups determined by their age or skill level to offer a fair playing experience. Our coaches will also evaluate participants daily to make sure that each player is progressing as expected and are being challenged by simple concepts relative to their peer group.

COACHES & TEAM MEMBERS
Our amazing coaching staff features some of the most knowledgable men and women in the region. Made up of high school coaches, former professional athletes, AAU ambassadors and basketball aficionados; our coaches are handpicked to provide a memorable experience to our participants. Our coach to player ratio is specifically structured to encourage individual development and ensure all of our attendees never feel left out. By the last day of camp, the coaches will have spent significant time with their players and will have discussed individual areas of strengths and weakness in detail.
STRUCTURE
Our daily activities will begin with a camp warm up, including an active stretch to prevent injuries. This will be followed by team stations and daily contests to set the tone for the day. Lunch will be served mid day, offering campers a chance to recuperate and socialize with other campers. After lunch, players will be divided into teams for organized games against their friends to earn one of the camp championships.
This will be a highly active camp therefore constant hydration will be strongly encouraged during intermissions. Players are expected to take advantage of any down time they have to shoot hoops, talk with our coaches or just relax and prepare for the next activity.
COVID PROTOCOL
As we continue to deal with COVID-19, our mission is to keep all of our staff and participants healthy throughout the week. With this is mind, we have put several guidelines in place to show our commitment to having a COVID-free camp. Some of these protocols include:
• Frequent breaks to sanitize hands and equipment
• Players will be separated into smaller groups during stations
• Unvaccinated players will be asked to wear a mask during all group activities
• Non-basketball contact will be monitored and controlled to minimize contact
• Players who are feeling sick, prior to or during the camp, will be asked to sit out until further notice
*We kindly ask that if any player has traveled out of state prior to camp or has been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 7 days of their camp start date, please notify us in advance so that we can evaluate the situation properly.
